Okay so I had to share this picture with everyone. This is Haven. This is my sister's neice. She is about one and a half and is a complete mess. She knows what she likes and doesn't. My sisters name is Morgan and between her grandma, mother, and morgan they are all "Ma". She calls a cat a dog and a dog a cat, but knows what each one say. You can ask what does a cat say and she'll go "meow" and ask what a dog says and she goes "woof" if you ask her what mommy says she says "NO!" this was too cute of a story that my sister told me and I couldn't resist telling it to y'all

God and Me

To me faith is knowing that at the end of the day through all the chaos and trials I see that God is still there to ground me to keep me safe, to watch over me. I find peace in him and knowing that he cared enought to send his son to die for my sins and that after all the mistakes I've made and sins I've committed he still unconditionally loves me. That is what the tattoo on my back is. I know alot of people would say that getting it on your back is getting it where you can't see it, putting it out of sight out of mind i guess you could say. Yet I didn't want it to be damaged my faith is undamaged and so should the symbol I placed on my body to remind me of my faith and to show others the strength of my faith. I know it's there and I know why I drew it and why I have it. When I am standing infront of the mirror and can't stand what I see looking back I turn around and take a good look at my tatoo. It's not perfect and neither am I. However it symbolizes the cross that jesus died on the chaos that ensues this world and God's natural wonders, such as the lotus flower, which also symbolizes peace to me. It's located in the center of the cross because when you get to it at the center of all things at the origin of life there is God. He is my peace my stronghold, He knows me better than anyone. He knows what keeps me going and what I need. That is what faith is and that's between God and me.

so recently life has gotten pretty crazy.

I am working alot!!! and I really miss

my mom. She is my best friend and I

keep trying to go see her but haven't

quite found the time...at least where I

could afford to go as of yet. So hopefully

it will happen soon. But in the mean time

I have found someone to be truely thankful

for. And you all know her as well. That's

right Ms. Cindy has open her home and

taken this over worked twenty two year

old who is the girlfriend of her son and not

in any way related to her under her wing.

I am so thankful for her and my mom is too.

She is such a great person and with her days

off she spends part of them with me. We go

shopping, we go out to eat, or just hang out

and watch movies. What ever we do it is

always fun and much appreciated. So thank

you Ms. Cindy, I really really appreciate is

and enjoy spending time with you.

Mount Olympus

Last summer I had the opportunity to attend a study abroad in Greece. It was an amazing opportunity, which I enjoyed very much! The first photo was taked on mount olympus, which in greek mythology was to be the home of the gods. It is easy to see why they may have thought higher powers lived here. It is full of wonderful herbs, flowers and just about anything you might want to find. The second picture was at the base of the mountain. We discovered this little vivacious kitten who was nice enought to pose for us. His mother wasn't far behind but he was too cute to pass up a picture on. Being on Mount Olympus really amazed me with how wonderful God's painting truely is when it comes to this planet that we all too often take for granted.

Nap time

So I don't know if you know people like this, but I am one of those people who can fall asleep anywhere and when I get tired I hope I'm near a bed b/c there's a good chance I'm goin to fall asleep where I am. Well lucky for me I have friends who do the same thing...lol. I remeber in school we had to take a public speaking course which I had with Andrew, Miles's old roommate. He gave his demonstration speech on "How to take the perfect nap" which I already knew and if anyone ever doubted it these pics definately show it. HAHAHA!

Well I absolutely can not wait for tomorrow.. Meet my best friend...and get this her name is Jessica as well. We've been friends since my sophomore year in high school. this picture was taken at my mom's wedding. I can't wait she is coming to stay with me for the week starting tomorrow. YAY!!!
